New Year’s Greetings
We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
We sincerely hope for everyone’s safety and that no further damage will occur.
Here in northern Kyoto, where Ishca is based, we experienced a long but mild shaking, and a tsunami advisory was issued.
Even today, there have been a few minor tremors. Thinking of those still enduring aftershocks, we can only imagine how deep their anxiety must be.
We’ve also seen posts on social media about people searching for their dogs and cats in the affected areas.
We hope from the bottom of our hearts that these beloved family members will be reunited soon.
We are deeply reminded that the ability to carry on with our work in peace is not something to be taken for granted, but rather the result of many fortunate circumstances.
As we begin 2024, we will carry that awareness with us throughout the year.
Wishing you all peaceful days ahead.

Our founder’s family has shared their life
